Questions aerospace buyers ask

Can you machine this geometry?

Send the STEP file and drawing. Thin-wall pockets, deep bores and blade profiles run on 5-axis machines with probing in the cycle. You get a written yes or no, plus any feature changes we suggest, within 2 business days.

What quantities suit you?

Prototype lots from 1 part, low-rate production in the hundreds, and scheduled releases up to 25,000. The first article and the production run use the same program and fixtures.

Can you provide the required inspection records?

Yes. FAI to AS9102, CMM reports on key characteristics, mill certs, special process certs and a certificate of conformance ship with every lot. Records are kept for 10 years or your flowdown, whichever is longer.

Which finishing is done in house?

Deburr, passivation to AMS 2700 and part marking to MIL-STD-130. Anodize, chem film, plating, shot peen and penetrant go to NADCAP-accredited partners that we manage.
