Your yard

Will a pool fit my yard?

Most yards work. On a free site visit we check four things, and tell you straight.

Can a digger get in?

A standard excavator needs an 8 ft opening. Smaller is fine. It just changes the machine and the schedule.

Standard excavator.Normal schedule.

Is the yard flat?

Flat is easiest. A slope may need a retaining wall, or it can become a vanishing edge with a view.

No extra walls.The simplest build.

What's underground?

Before we dig we mark every gas, power, water and sewer line, and test the soil for rock.

  • Free utility locate (811)
  • Soil and rock test
  • Septic and drain field check

What do the rules allow?

Cities set how close a pool can sit to property lines and easements. HOAs add their own. We check both and pull the permit.

  • Setbacks and easements
  • HOA approval package
  • Required safety fence

Bring to the visit: a few yard photos, your property survey, and HOA rules if you have them.

Cost

The whole price,
not just the pool.

A pool quote and a backyard quote are two different numbers. We show you both, line by line.

1. Pool size
2. Add to the pool
3. Around the pool

Permits, engineering, electrical and gas hookups are always included below. Ranges are typical 2026 Hill Country prices.

The pool$0
Around the pool$0
Whole project $0

Most quotes stop at the first line. Ours doesn't.

Finishes

Choose the color
of your water.

The finish inside the pool decides what color the water looks. Pick one and watch it change.

Coping

The equipment, in plain English.

Six parts run your pool. We size each one for your pool and explain the choices.

  1. Pump

Moves the water. Variable-speed models use up to 80% less power.

  2. Filter

Catches dirt. A cartridge filter needs a rinse about twice a year.

  3. Heater

Heat pump for spring and fall swims. Gas to heat the spa fast.

  4. Salt system

Makes its own chlorine. Softer water, fewer chemicals to buy.

  5. Automation

Run the pool, spa, lights and heat from your phone.

  6. Lights

LED, any color, on a timer. They make evenings.
